Review on πŸ”₯ Thermalright Thermal Pad 12.8 W/mK: Non-Conductive Heat Resistance for Laptop Heatsink/GPU/CPU/LED Cooler (1.5mm) by Alanna Scott

Not stone cold but good

Changed a thermal pad on my Aorus Master RTX 3090, the stock was just terrible heat on VRAM to the point of thermal throttling. At first I'll say I was almost certain the thickness was wrong, but after a week or so the temperature rose and I checked the bolts and the pads sagged a bit and they were completely loose. Tightening up made the thermals even better, and then a week later, a similar thing, though not as bad, tightening up improved core temp. I would say they are thick, they are a bit harder than gel pads but overall a great product. However, note that there will be adjustments over time and you will need to watch the temperature and tighten the screws for a while after applying. I'll edit this review later to add the exact thermal pad requirements for the Aorus Master RTX 3090, there seems to be really limited information.
