Strawberry Whey is the winner!

Before I got Strawberry I used Chocolate Whey Protein for a year because it tasted good and I didn't want to risk trying anything else. But at these prices I thought I might try something else. I bought a Strawberry Whey, a Vanilla Isolate and a Chocolate Isolate each. I added the isolate because I read good reviews about it. It turns out that Strawberry Whey is very good. But the vanilla isolate left me with an unpleasant aftertaste. I decided I couldn't use it. I thought, "Very bad" because from what I've read, Isolate had some positive aspects. Also, I also had the chocolate isolate and wasn't expecting the taste. Oh, two of the three glasses I bought were unusable. So I came up with the idea of combining whey and isolate. I use 1 1/4 scoops of strawberries and 1 1/4 scoops of vanilla and add just enough water to make a very, very thick smoothie. I've found that the thinner shakes don't taste as good, plus I get a little more protein. The result is a very tasty strawberry flavored cocktail with no aftertaste. I have an advantage (who remembers?!?) from the isolate and the vanilla doesn't take away from the good strawberry flavor. And I use two packs of isolates that I wanted to throw away. I have no plans to mix strawberries and chocolate, but I will buy chocolate whey and add chocolate isolate. Conclusion: Strawberry Whey is very good. Used alone, it had a very strong strawberry flavor. With the addition of vanilla, the strawberry flavor wasn't as strong (of course not!) but still had a pretty good strawberry flavor. As for the two views on whey and isolate, I'm a proponent of that. What initially seemed like a mistake (purchasing Isolate) I turned into what I thought was a good compromise. I'm really looking forward to a delicious post-workout shake.
