BEST Substitute for Listerine Gentle Gum Care

Like many others I was disappointed with the discontinuation of Listerine Gentle Gum Care Floss which was introduced to me by my dental hygienist. After trying a few expanding threads I tried this one as suggested in an online post and I love it! Listerine has more yarn structure while Dr. Tung is a bit more like the tightly woven strand of a friendship bracelet (not to be confused with the strand like most dental floss). Not as fluffy as Listerine, but denser and less crumbly. Unlike most stretchy threads, which get very thin when pulled hard, they are quite thick before they expand, so you can still get a good peel even if you pull hard. You can feel it scratching your tooth as it slides over it. There's no flavor, but there is a very milky lemongrass smell that's most noticeable when you sniff the dispenser. It really isn't bad at all! I think most of the complaints come from people preferring mint, but I've never seen mint silk actually do anything to your breath. Also, unlike other stretchy threads, this thick thread can actually hold mouthwash when immersed. I've always enjoyed dipping dental floss in a capful of mouthwash before using it. I have bottlenecks that the mouthwash never reaches when rinsing. If by some miracle Listerine Gentle Gum Care comes back I will go back to Listerine or Dr. tungs? Spring. The remedy from Dr. Tung is a bit expensive and (as far as I know) can only be found online, but it's worth it as it cleans your teeth without damaging them. Listerine Gentle Gum Care was easy to find in stores, but sometimes it was a little torn. I think it's tossed around until I can make a direct comparison.
