Good product but not suitable for skin care

I originally bought this as a facial cleanser. Bad idea. My mom is a cosmetologist and warned me beforehand that castile soap can be very dry and flaky. My skin is dry and sensitive. I didn't dilute it properly and combined it with a physical peel. In short, my skin really hates me and soap. HOWEVER, while I haven't had much luck with being a facial cleanser, it's still a good product! I used it to clean makeup brushes and sponges. Regular dish soap can't remove all the dirt, but this soap is so concentrated it works great. My coarse makeup sponges now look brand new. I personally would not recommend this toner. Partly user error but my skin started peeling horribly after a few days of being irritated by this soap. There are so many other products that are better for skin care, even in the same price range. I ended up buying another facial cleanser and now my skin is much happier. It is great for cleaning not only the face but also other things. After seeing what it did to my makeup sponge I will definitely use it differently. Also the taste! I love scents and tea tree is definitely there. TL;DR: Bad for skincare, good for cleansing.
