Review on Gizmo Dorks Printer Surface Compatible by Bill Russett

I've been using the CR-10S for a while now and have always used the standard glass platform that comes with it. I would just put some baby glue on the bed before doing the print to get a good grip on the bed. But this process annoyed me. My printer is set up for Octoprint control and webcam monitoring, so it was very frustrating having to go there and apply glue every time after the bed and hot end had already warmed up before sending and running the print remotely could. If I applied the glue before heating, the glue would have dried when everything was warm and wouldn't give a good bond. This PEI sheet has amazingly solved my problems. No prep for bed and 10 prints so far have stuck perfectly. And after printing, when the bed cools down, it is very easy to remove the print. I don't even need to use any tools like I did with glass and glue. Also, the glue method sometimes resulted in a very messy look, but with PEI it was always a nice glossy finish. If this product lasts, it will probably be one of the best upgrades I've ever made to my 3D printer. It's also cheap enough that replacing it from time to time shouldn't be such a big deal, but I'm a little worried about how hard it will be to remove the old sheet when the time comes, lol .
