Wtf cares about the sticker?

The bottom line is that these things aren't technologically advanced. But they work if you just read the instructions. I'm not a cable installer, I'm an owner and landlord. Which means I'm actually wondering how the line works and how strong the signal is. This makes a big difference in how often you have to restart your modem, as well as speed and picture. The first time I used one of these was when renovating a big old house where the cable had been upgraded and the cable guys had everything rewired. around the outside of the house. I didn't know what they were doing. All I knew was that the picture was in space and the internet went down three times a week and the communist occupation had no idea why. They sent technicians who said everything was fine. When I was remodeling the house I bought a spool of light colored wire and pumped the wires into it. I took their amp out of the box and plugged it in using the special connector next to the amp. Result? The problems are gone. Internet was stable, HD was stable. You CANNOT place the output power line 2 more than 100 feet away. Do yourself a favor and run special circuitry for output 2 next to the amplifier. Even if you don't, read the instructions and keep Output 2 within 100 feet of the amp. My wife bought the next house while I was on a business trip and she had the same problem (we love old houses). I just installed this, rewound my light wire and it's gone. It arrived as Amerex instead of Extreme Broadband, but the ports and specs were the same. Checked with a multimeter - no difference. Funny that the local cable company had an Amerex passive splitter in the box. Just follow the instructions, run the rg6 line and use the compression fittings and you will see the difference. While you're at it, use the jobber's bat, rebuild the boxes, and run the cable in the wall instead of the floor. It's much better and shows the renters/buyers of the home that you care. And NEVER let your local cable company run your lines. You will never get it right. I would recommend this item and seller to my friends. Delivery takes a minute but it's worth it
