I bought these to attach plastic sheeting to PVC pipes in my low garden tunnels. When ordering I knew they would be a bit too big so I planned to insert thin strips of styrofoam packing sheets in the center of the back hoping they would fit snugly. The simple fix worked and the clamps stayed in place. Very satisfied and I'm ordering more to complete the longer of the tunnels (six pack for the 10" arch hoops at the ends of the tunnel and 2 pack for the tire in between). I would use more zip ties on the inner hoops, but the plastic is so tight it pops out. I'll try to remember to report back in March after snowfall and wind in US Zone 5b winter if the clamps held tight. So far so good, but after the rain. The clips stay in place and the tires keep their shape.
