Handy, compact and time-saving; This kitchen gadget is a game changer! I was hesitant but after reading all the reviews I was ready to try it and I'm glad I did. It takes 30-45 seconds to prepare, to fill the appropriate amount of water, pierce the eggs and put them in the tray. It takes about 7 minutes for three eggs, about 11-12 minutes for six eggs. Yes, but the buzzer is awkward and annoying, but it's not meant to be nice - I'm guessing that it's loud and awkward, less fire hazard. Once these puppies are cooked and cooled, they can be easily cleaned and prepped. I used to hate making hard boiled eggs precisely because I had to peel them and lost 1/4 of the egg along with the shell; Luckily things are different with this device and I'm so glad I stumbled across it while browsing Revain. Absolute purchase recommendation for this product, you will not regret it! Also, I've noticed that some reviews have complained about leftovers at the "base" where the water has boiled off, but that's not uncommon. We have hard water and cleans well. It's no different than what we're already experiencing in our pans, but it's just finer than your regular pan.
