Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic SUV 205/70 R15 96T winter by Mateusz Majchrzak ᠌

Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

Well balanced tires for their price of 6.8 for R17. Two years later. Quickly loses spikes, which does not correspond to the price category. Disappointed in the results of winter operation. Some pros: Good cross-country ability: where many tires strive to dig in in winter, these slowly float further. Excellent hold "straight" on the pavement, little sensitive to the rut on the track. Good lateral stability, especially in sharp turns. Low noise level (did not notice any special hum) - no more than on my summer tires. Pretty soft even for winter tires. Has some cons: I didn’t notice any special shortcomings (maybe it will pop up during the next years of operation - I’ll note) Two years have passed. Winter total mileage is about 15 thousand km. There are 120 spikes left on three wheels, and only 65 on the fourth (!). Spikes were lost on it at 30 - 40 pieces per season, regardless of which axle the rubber was on - front or rear. I didn’t have such a loss of spikes even on the weakest rubber. Only the middle spikes flew out, the side ones are all in place. And this despite the fact that I have a winter run with almost no asphalt - soft dirt road and primer. On the face of an obvious marriage.
