This is not active cooling, just passive. Basically, what we have are two large CPU fans and cooling blocks used to dissipate heat and a third fan to blow air into the case. On the 2nd day, the power supply failed on this device. The seller was very quick to help and sent a replacement power supply which was easy to install if you are not afraid to screw/unscrew some wires. The seller is very responsive, so a big plus in his favor. The power adapter is a standard type that can be purchased elsewhere if needed. The most important piece in this thing is the fan/temp control box, the rest is just the main power wiring. The unit is for cooling only and I use it as part of the cooling circuit in my 300w laser cutter. It's good for monitoring coolant temp and is a good heatsink before returning to the reservoir. The included pump is pretty ridiculous and you'll probably want to replace it depending on what you're cooling. . It's probably great for an aquarium, but for a laser cutter you need to get the most out of it. Overall I like the device, it does exactly what I wanted it to do but I find it a little overpriced for what it is but that is mitigated by the very responsive CS.
