I was so happy to use this. I bought a brand new 4K monitor for my MacBook Pro. Connecting is very easy. The problems started less than an hour after connecting. The monitor went off for a split second and then came back on. This will happen more regularly after a while until the monitor eventually becomes unusable. I called the monitor manufacturer and got a replacement. I had the same problem with the new monitor. Finally, I bought a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter from Revain Basics. It works perfectly. It turned out that the problem was in this cable. Now my return window is closed and I'm stuck with a broken $20 cord.
