Installation was very easy. I liked the readout on the charge controller so I know if the solar array is charging, how well it's charging, and the drain on the battery. I use it to charge a winch battery in a racing trailer. The battery also powers some of the trailer's LED lights and is used to charge a laptop and phone. He only stayed with it for a week but tested it several times on different days, putting the car in and out of the trailer to see how much power it uses and how long it takes to charge, and the solar charger quickly recharges the battery . In the North East it's really cool to have a light whenever I need it as in spring/fall it can get dark early and you don't have to worry about having enough battery power to shut down your car at the end of the day start.
