After checking the post office four or five times, the key is now difficult to get in and out. When I try to insert the key, the key gets stuck halfway, but I can still turn the cylinder and open the lock. However, this is inconsistent; After inserting and removing the key several times, the lock now remains locked. My guess is that the pins get stuck in the cylinder and stay that way until the next time I insert the key. Cheap materials and very unreliable lock.
