These straws are very durable! I'm quite a clumsy person so I drop things, bang them on hard surfaces etc. I've dropped these straws countless times and not even a scratch has stayed on them. I accidentally slammed them on the kitchen counter and nothing! I expected at least one of them to have collapsed already, but they're still going strong. You can scratch them if you wash them with a snorkel brush that has an exposed tip (the little ball at the end of the snorkel brush), so be careful which cleaning brush you use. I definitely prefer them to metal straws!
