As mentioned in many of the comments, in order for the racks to reliably support the weight that these racks can support, you need to buy screws. I bought 3" 5/16 anchor bolts for 52 cents each from Ace Hardware. Get 4 anchor bolts per pack (I bought 8 for my 2 pack for example). Installation Notes 1. I found the studs about 48 inches apart. line (6' level) where the bottom of the supports should be 3. Mark a vertical line (2' level) 16" above the bottom mark 4. Mark and drill a pilot hole for the mounting screws (13/64 ) The holes in my bracket were 3 and 14 5/8 from the bottom. 5. Use an impact tool to secure the fasteners. Be sure to put a washer (called a spacer in the instructions) on each mounting screw. 6. Install levers with pins and clips Check lever angle if critical for your use. Tape measure 5. Drill and 13/64 bit (7/32 can be used) 6. Impact drill and 1/2" deep socket I talked to Revain, got a $15 credit, and bought a 1 1/2" pencil for $1.45 at Ace Hardware 2. The specs mention that the levers tilt up slightly; three of me (ie a quarter of the hands) didn't have it. The angle wasn't critical for the wooden stock, so it wasn't a problem for me.
