Extremely accurate - motion detector
Used for a distance measuring device with an Arduino Nano. It is extremely accurate, reading just over 39 feet. Unlike an ultrasonic distance sensor, it measures the maximum distance when out of range. The only downside is that it's difficult to read in a very dusty environment. Also when used at a great distance from the Arduino (30-40 feet) it doesn't read, so I had to design the sensor next to the Arduino and power the LCD myself. Finding the code took a while.
