You get what you pay for

This is a cheap replacement lamp. Mine was either taken from a 500 hour projector or made to a low standard. There are discolored spots in the center turning blue and a distinct brown spot in the lower left corner. I've tried a few new lightbulbs (which you pay $200-$300 for) and they don't usually light up. these defects appear after 500-750 hours of operation. All of these lamps under $100 that I have received have flaws that are immediately visible. And they may not last long - typically a year at most with normal use. Just understand that before you jump.
