Don't let the price fool you!

first let me say I will be buying this again. The price seemed too good to be true but pleasantly surprised. Scratched each side to find the backing sheet, no problem. Second cut with Cricut Maker, with the Everyday Vinyl Iron On setting, no problem. Nice haircut. Third, pull weeds. The vinyl was thicker than other brands I've used. But once I found a rhythm for vinyl, no problem. The backing sheet is NOT sticky when you sort out the negative parts of the design. I thought there were problems with ironing, no. The cut out design did not move when placed on clothing. Fourth, a Cricut mini press was used to "smooth out" the design. Set to 320 degrees Fahrenheit and press down on a piece of denim for 12 seconds (I didn't want to wear a shirt until I was sure about the vinyl). Finally I removed the backing sheet while the vinyl was warm, again no problem. When I run my hand over the applied pattern, the smooth surface is very thin. I expected the vinyl to be applied thickly, but it became part of the material. I felt the vinyl but it's comparable to other brands of vinyl I've used. I am planning to make a t-shirt for my son. I will wash both my leftover jeans and t-shirt, one following vinyl washing guidelines and the other NOT! I will update my review with the results. Will i buy it again? Yes. January 2020
