Buckle snaps into place on first use
The carabiner is strong, but the plastic part that turns it into a belt leash isn't. I walked a 90 lb beagle dog. He is usually good on a leash, but (as a hunting dog) can sometimes become stubborn when chasing things. The plastic part burst and the dog disappeared! Luckily I grabbed the broken line before he could get far.
