Review on Optimized FRAM Extra Guard Air Filter CA9115 for Scion and Toyota Vehicles by Gucci Breeze

I purchased this FRAM Extra Guard CA9115 for my 2006 Scion XB. I made sure this is the recommended part for my XB on the FRAM website. I've tried installing one, but with the filter inside, I can't close the filter housing latches. I've tried several times and put a lot of force on the clamps. I could only turn on one at a time. I took a close look at the case and it was clear that even if I did add a second clip there wouldn't be a good seal. The top and bottom of the case did not match. I put the old filter back in place, the latches clicked into place with a light push and the top and bottom of the housing fitted perfectly. The difference between day and night. As another reviewer mentioned, this product does not have a rubber seal but is a very hard white plastic material. Compared to my previous filter, it was obvious that several sizes were larger around the edge. (Low quality photo attached) I suspect one of these two issues is causing it not to fit.
