I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I bought this. However, since they were so cheap I figured I really had nothing to lose. I am a 30 year old single male and I love to cook. These spoons have become a great helper in my kitchen. Three different lengths come in handy as I cook in different sized pots and pans. If you're worried about how to keep them clean, it's very simple. I've found that if you scrub it well with dish soap after use and soak it in warm water for an hour, it should remove most stains. Just make sure you put a weight on the spoons so they stay completely submerged and don't float to the surface. You will not be able to remove all stains as food and sauces will seep into the wood - this is inevitable. However, over time, your spoons will take on an amazing color and character. I also like their weight in these spoons. They are not too heavy and not too light. This ensures the perfect in-hand feel. I highly recommend them.
