This might be a bit taboo, but I don't use sponges for my face, I use them for menstrual purposes. In this respect they are excellent! They're absorbent, compostable, all-natural, and reusable (though the clumps usually make them a one-off menstrual offering that can be stretched to two or one-and-a-half in a snap), and best of all, they feel less obtrusive than yours. average tampon, at least for me. If you've ever had cramps or felt aroused and irritable from using tampons, I personally think it's worth a try. If you like them then great value for money! I've never tried diva mugs and such, mainly because I tried sea sponges first and stopped looking for other solutions. (I've heard great things, and they're even better for reuse when everything works smoothly.) I've never tried sex with sponges, so I don't find it particularly comfortable. Yes. However, I do like sea sponges. I haven't had a heavy discharge in a long time either, but the person who told me about this method recommends inserting them deeper and letting the weight of the blood push them out a bit so you know when to flush them out . I found that pretty effective. When I have a stronger stream, I check it more often. This can get chaotic if you're in a bathroom with the sink in a different area, but I've found that putting a can of water and some tissues (or similar items) in the stall has mitigated my own encounters to bring with a probable catastrophe. . It's not perfect, but for me at least, I like the aspect of getting out of single use - straight into the garbage loop that's so easy to get into with toiletries. It saddens me to think that my womanhood is an expensive treat for the planet. It makes me feel like I wasn't cut out for this, that this place isn't my home and I'm just an almost unbearable guest passing by. Extremely sentimental, I know, but a few bites of strategic comfort, where I can tend to let such ideas take up space, will go a long way.
