Addendum to my original review: The company sent me another one (which has now been stolen) and it worked very well. Opens and closes with no problems, quiet and works as expected. The one I had was apparently defective. I haven't been able to try it in strong winds but I think it should be strong enough. Many Thanks. But I don't have it anymore! So I bought this product hoping it will be very good. I was afraid of its strength and that all that electronic opening and closing might come at the expense of strength. I had to charge it as it wasn't charged. The place where you put the charger is closed. The company, trying to match it with the rest of the matte stylus, made it almost impossible to open. I had to use my swiss army knife to open it. After that, connecting the charger wasn't an easy process. We're talking about a USB-C connection (that's a great idea from the company), but it was still difficult to plug in. I really had to hold the umbrella in one hand and the string in the other. It doesn't matter as it's not something you will do every day. After it charged (which didn't take long) it came in an hour or so I think and it was already charged (it wouldn't be a big deal as the battery is small) I tried. Bad sound. I mean it's bad, especially when you come to a small place and you want to close it. You are not allowed to open it until you leave the place, but usually people close it as soon as they enter the building. Another thing is that when you open or close (presumably open or close fully) you feel that it is not fully. You can't move it by hand, but if you look at the umbrella from the outside, you can tell: it can't be opened all the way! Same with closing, when it goes down you can still see the stem at the base. When I opened it up I found that you could squeeze it and the cord would either buckle outwards or go up as if it hadn't opened fully. This means that there is a high probability that the product I received is broken! The only thing I can't test right now is how strong it is and how wind resistant it is. They really need a storm to check it out, which doesn't happen that often in my town. I hope support will read this and let me know if this product is defective or not.!
