Great car! Really works!

I bought one of these units a while ago to make copies of old family movies that I first transferred from VHS tapes/camcorders to DVD. THAT was a daunting task in itself, consuming every available moment of my life for weeks. (It had to be done in real time and some things had to be edited). Now everyone wanted easy-to-use DVDs and Christmas was just around the corner. I thought this collection would make a great gift for anyone who could have their own. But I would NEVER waste TIME repeating this for a few parties! So I delved into the realm of "duplicaters" without knowing absolutely NOTHING about how they work. This unknown company got a lot of good reviews, so I decided to give it a try (and the price was much lower than many others). I received the product, installed it in minutes (very easy to follow instructions) and put in the first DVD to copy. I went expecting it would take some time and when I went through a few minutes later everything was ready! NO WAY! I took a copy into the DVD player, put it in and here it is. ALL first DVD! COPIED! IN MINUTES! I was surprised. So I kept copying and made all my Christmas presents in a few days (I had recorded over 50 DVDs). And it was so easy. I did them on TV. Insert a blank DVD, mount the DVD you want to rip, press the button, and within 1-2 minutes you're done. Nothing could be easier than that! I was amazed at the time I saved compared to weeks for the original set. And those who received them. loved her! (You knew how long the original set lasted). Now I make copies for other people too. It's a pretty amazing piece of technology. Although there is a downside. DVD formatting is important for this device. This needs to be done in the right format, so make sure your DVDs you want to rip conform to this format. (It actually says it accepts most formats, but I didn't rip a couple of old DVDs I had, they weren't part of the "Christmas Collection"). That is the reason for the one star deduction. I don't need the company to ask questions but reviews say they are very responsive. Finally NO. Copyrighted material may not be copied! They have a chip that prevents this so it's mainly for your home videos although I've heard they burn CDs.
