We use it for recessed lighting on some of the glass art in the display case. The light emitted is very good. , gives the glass color and makes it shine. I would definitely recommend this bulb if you are looking to upgrade your glass display case with LEDs. I've spent quite a bit of time looking for lamps with a good light temperature and color rendering index and this one didn't disappoint. It also outlived any incandescent bulbs previously placed in the cartridge because they overheated and burned out. They were sensitive to house wiring. But this one is doing really well.
