Great for larger bottles vacuum insulated or not, adjusts up or down
I have a 750ml vacuum insulated water bottle that fits perfectly. I also have a 1 liter Elite Maxi water bottle which is about the same diameter as a regular water bottle but much taller - works well too. What I like best is that you can move the bottle cage up and down, with a low position that's a good 1-1/4 - 1-1/2 inches lower than usual to accommodate larger bottles. A 1 liter water bottle is slightly smaller in diameter than this cage and stays in place (road bike).
