I bought this bottle because I have used Embrava Steel bottles and love them. I ended up having to replace the steel bottles because they both leak through the bottom of the cap. I think the seals are completely worn out as the water runs down under the cover on my front. Steel bottles use silicone rings to snap the lid off and will wear out and break after a few months. Funnily enough, Embrava sent me a brand new bottle when I asked if I could just swap out the rings! This bottle seems to solve this cap problem thanks to the metal spring. I've only had it a few days, but I love how strong spring feels. If Embrava put this metal spring on their steel bottle cap, I would order another one or two in a heartbeat! This bottle fits well in my small hand. It is marked down to 17 oz and not 18. Not sure if the extra space above that line is another 1 oz. I don't know why they sell it as 18oz since it says 17 on both the box and the bottle itself. The only thing I have on this bottle is the strap. The band on the steel moved around the bottle but you could place it where you wanted and it stayed there when you tightened the cap. This swings around the bottle when in use, meaning you have to move it pretty much out of the way when drinking. Otherwise, the strap will flap against your chin as you drink. Would I buy this bottle again? Probably no. But if they fix the steel bottle spring issue, I will keep buying Embrava steel bottles.
