Review on Black/Blue BlueAnt Ribbon Stereo Bluetooth Streamer - Bluetooth Headset by Charity Holloway

I've been looking for something like this for a long time because I'm used to answering cell phone calls through headphones. I used to use BlueAnt products (Q2 and T1 Bluetooth headsets) so I decided to try this one too. Plus, getting something like this for less than $30 is a bargain. I have to say that the product works great. I had no problems for the first 2 weeks. The sound is excellent (louder and clearer than when using headphones plugged into the headphone jack of a mobile phone). and i can use any headphones with it. The problems started about 2 weeks after I bought the device. No matter which headphones or in-ear headphones I used, only one ear always worked. When I moved the connector at the base of the connector, the sound came out intermittently. I would have given this review 2 stars, but I wanted to see if there was anything else I could do on my end, so I went to the BlueAnt website and contacted support. It turns out that the BlueAnt Tape comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty. I never asked for a replacement, but their response to my questions was to approve that replacement. All they asked for was proof of purchase and my shipping information. About a week later I had a brand new band and it's been working great ever since. So while the original device stopped working properly, BlueAnt's customer support was top notch. And the new device works perfectly without any problems.
