Customer Service - 5 Product Quality - 4 Need a 3/8" angle valve option! Hi, I would like to start by saying that CS was excellent. They didn't just let me choose another faucet, but the one that was delivered was damaged and they sent a replacement quickly which I really appreciate.I wasn't very familiar with plumbing prior to this experience but spent a lot of time trying to figure out what part I needed.Hope this review will help you!The angle valve that comes with this kit measures 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4" which is larger than the 3/8" of my kitchen faucet. If you are not sure are what you have, just wait until you receive this package, unscrew the cold water line and try fitting the valve provided, if it's too big then you know you need 3/8"s of that package implies that s it includes everything you need to connect and work, which would be true if you have a 1/2 inch compression fitting. I asked the company if they have a 3/8 inch compression fitting. You said what no. My local hardware store didn't have the item I needed, so I went back and forth a few times until I found what I needed in stock. What you need is a 3-corner check valve /8" x 3/8" x 1/4", they cost around $10-$20. Plastic wrap from the filter! If you have leaks at the connections, take a sharp blade and cut off a small piece of the tubing, then reattach it making sure it goes all the way in. The little plastic ring (not the blue clip) around the fitting should stay in place, you can use it push down to pull out the hose, if your faucet is leaking, in my case you just need to tighten the handle a little, anything, tighten and tighten until the dripping stops, this reduces the chances of that You damage something. I had a leak in the filter canister, had to screw it very tight. If you live on the 2nd floor like me, if you're "worried about water leaks, buy a water leak detector, it's only about $5, use a 9v battery, it's worth it itself! or sit in a plastic container made from an old salad mix. God bless :)
