It will NOT turn your teeth black, well, just a little while brushing. But the polishing power of charcoal helps whiten your teeth. It has a really good taste and isn't as strong as many toothpastes. It was mild on my teeth and gums but does a great job of whitening my teeth. The ingredient list is really good natural ingredients. This toothpaste is actually in a metal tube, so when you squeeze it, be very careful as it will keep trying to come out. You only need a small amount of it to work. Highly recommended!
