Works great, easy to install in PCI-E slot. I used this to replace some ports that were broken on my desktop PC. The components are of high quality, all 4 ports work. Windows and Linux recognized it without installing drivers. The only downside is that you cannot boot through these ports (from a USB stick or an external optical drive) as the operating system has to boot first for the ports to become "live". This is not unexpected, since the PC usually does not recognize additional port cards during the boot process, only those built into the motherboard.
