Got this for a workstation that only has a display port and a HDMI port. Since the Displayport cable adapter has a latch on the cable, I connected this Displayport to the VGA adapter to keep it secure on the workstation. However, it broke after 3 months of use. At first I thought it was a monitor, but after further diagnostics I found that it was an adapter cable. I replaced it with an HDMI to VGA adapter.
