Works great but should be able to take larger springs

Used this to replace struts on my 2012 Ford Edge. The safety latches would not fit the springs without grinding the face on one side. Besides, it worked great. Manufacturer's Note: Design it for springs that are about 1/16 inch in diameter. The design for use with a 1/2" drive impact wrench worked great. Other spring compressors I have used require a 3/4 inch socket but that is what led me to this product. Not much but nice. The case is good too.
