Review on ๐Ÿช€ 15ft AW Round Trampoline Enclosure Net Fence Replacement Safety Mesh Netting - Fits 3 Arch with 6 Pole Internal Net by Lawrence Reuter

Works but not as well as my original net

Our 15ft trampoline was purchased by Sam for Christmas in 2015. This will work to replace the one that had a huge hole in it and I have a few thoughts: - I replaced the mesh and round mat at the same time - the whole project took about an hour with no help. - I read a few other reviews and made sure the zip was closed when I started. I started by attaching the top to the bars (we don't have an arch, it has 6 vertical bars). This net has 6 adjustable straps that can be shortened or lengthened and closed with a plastic clip. Since our old net had some kind of metal ring, I had to adjust the straps shorter and then wrap them around each pole and then secure the straps with a strap fastened in the pole's channel. Hope that makes sense! Eventually I was able to get it working. Although the net between the bars has a slight bend that the old net didn't have, I think it will work. After I had the poles set up, I started attaching the floor. String is basically used to "sew" the mesh onto the feathers. Our old net had about 8 shorter cords, but this one has a longer one. I cut off a piece and started on one side of the zipper hole. Then I cut out the second section, starting to the right of the zipper. After about 3/4 turn I realized I had overtightened. I was glad I could remove the smaller part from one side of the zipper, unzip it and give myself a little more slack to make it work. The zipper doesn't close all the way (about 3-4 inches), but it's better than pulling out the entire cord and starting over. When I first assembled the trampoline it ended up in our barn-like metal building (Christmas present). for children) and in the spring we moved it to the street. That being said, trying to string a new net in a rustic wind wasn't very fun (kite kite I think) but I was able to do it myself. All in all I think this will help and I hope we can get at least two more summers out of this if we're lucky. It was a cheaper fix than waiting for Black Friday to get another new one, and it should work.
