Bought as a gift for my wife, she is very happy. The player is mainly used for music to help relaxation and sleep, and the sound quality is excellent for that purpose, but not so good when playing music with more bass. There are a few settings that improve bass response, but the size/design of the speakers doesn't deliver a rich bass sound. The remote control works well, there were no problems with the operation. I like that it can be used with or without a DC power supply, but we didn't try to use it until it needed to be charged, so I don't know how long it will last without an external power supply. All in all this is a very good compact device and I would recommend it to anyone with similar musical needs.
