I bought this mainly because I was fed up with the glass french press. I'm not a sensitive type. And the glass usually breaks around me. So I saw this model from Stanley and immediately bought it. The thing is huge! is massive! If that bothers you, then don't buy it. It didn't bother me. And I take this thing with me when I travel. Because of the size, I usually put gear in it so I can use it to protect whatever I put in it. But it will be very difficult to take it with you. Not impossible, but difficult. That's it. It's bulletproof. This thing, like any Stanley product, will handle anything you throw at it. I wanted to give 5 stars! But I have to be honest. Heat protection does not match the description. I could drink coffee from it for a maximum of 2 hours. Pass it on and you'll drink cold coffee. And for that I preheat and use boiling water for coffee. But then again, I don't care since I have the legendary bottle and my friend is behind the zombie apocalypse. So if you're planning on making coffee after the zombies arrive and want to sip hot coffee while running away from them, here's your combo. This is a French Press and Stanley's iconic bottle. You will be fine. And it can also be used as a weapon, so double duty!
