Restored color and shine, softer durable jacket

I have an old biker jacket that I bought from a friend who had better days. Based on the Wilsons leather neck tag it probably dates from the 90's and appears to have been neglected before I got it and is starting to show cracks in places. Not wanting to spend a few hundred dollars on a new jacket, I decided to upgrade it instead, so I did a little research online and settled on this product. I first soaped the saddle to clean it and then I started Pecard. I was expecting it to smell kinda, but it was actually very subtle to the point where I couldn't smell anything until I held it up to my nose and sniffed at it. In fact, it smells a lot like beeswax, which, judging by its smell and color, is the main ingredient. In any case, like many other reviewers, I rubbed the bandage into my skin with my fingers and melted it into oil as I rubbed it in with heat. I left it on overnight and rubbed the jacket down twice with two clean rags until it was no longer greasy. Result? He did a great job of bringing the jacket back to life, restoring color and shine, but what struck me the most was the feel of the jacket. Less than 24 hours after application, the skin is no longer stiff and dry. The oils rehydrated the skin, making it supple and soft again, and allowed me to bend my arms slightly where the greatest resistance was. now even after polishing. Maybe soft leather is not the best option for this product. Again they restored the color but I really hope they return to their normal feel. I love that it's made in the USA, is made from natural ingredients and unlike mink oil doesn't contain lanolin or animal fat, yet still gives the jacket water repellency.
