Easy to use and can be used to measure the temperature of "surfaces " as well as sick children!

I love that you don't have to 'wipe' your forehead with this thermometer. Just hold it a little away from your forehead and press the trigger until you hear a beep. When I received it I was surprised to see that it can also be used to measure the temperature of surfaces. It was easy to use and seems accurate. We have a little grandson and we are going to use it to take temperature - much easier than the old fashioned way!

Long Range Baby Thermometer: Measure forehead temperature at a safe distance of 5-15 cm (2-6 inches) with the iProven non-contact thermometer. Point the infrared sensor at the center of baby's forehead and press the button to get an accurate result in 1 second.
