I used one of these on my HP Stream 7 so I could charge it while my USB game controller was plugged in. The first time I used one it fried the charging port on my tablet and it didn't work. Do not charge at all with ANY charging cable or adapter. The battery eventually dies and is too old to bother with repairs. Use this product at your own risk!
