No doubt these are nice little flashlights but unfortunately I've had a few problems. I installed them on a lighted watering can and noticed that one strand had a broken wire so the light that passed it didn't work on that strand which is very disappointing. I'm not sure if I should just cut this strand or leave it. Also, some modes don't seem to stay in that mode, instead switching to another mode themselves. Always-on mode seems to work. UPDATE: There were issues with the modes due to the presence of the receiver in the watering can. All modes work as expected only with #1 in variable mode. I managed to cut the thread where it broke, which didn't affect that thread or the entire set. After I contacted the seller, they responded quickly to my broken thread issue and provided another kit free of charge without even asking me. Excellent customer service!
