Not for outdoor use and with remote control, you must be 2 inches from

Not for outdoor use as they say I go out and the battery is full of water and rusty. With my good no cheap battery inside! When I first put this in my stone wall fountain I built in the yard. So excited! Then I try the remote and I should be 2 inches away from it. Who wants to go out in the cold at night to turn off the light? Even if you use the timer setting. Another problem is water ingress.

It's great to have 8 different options for how to do it.

It's great, especially because there's a remote control for each of the strings of lights

Each string of lights takes 3 AA batteries and the first time I use them I put new batteries in and set the timer 6 hours at night. (He turns off the light himself) and the battery lasted 17 days. I then bought AA rechargeable batteries and didn't know it but I ended up with 2 bad batteries in an 8 pack which is annoying considering how expensive Energizer rechargeable batteries are. I don't know yet how many days I can live with three fully functional batteries. I use both of my strings in…

Nice but one thread is broken and some modes change automatically. SEE UPDATE!

No doubt these are nice little flashlights but unfortunately I've had a few problems. I installed them on a lighted watering can and noticed that one strand had a broken wire so the light that passed it didn't work on that strand which is very disappointing. I'm not sure if I should just cut this strand or leave it. Also, some modes don't seem to stay in that mode, instead switching to another mode themselves. Always-on mode seems to work. This Soltuus LED string light kit is simple and includes 2 string lights, so I used one in my living room and the other on my patio. The cords are strong and flexible copper wire and I have no problem bending or stretching while decorating.
