
I bought these to measure resonance levels of vibrations in a 3D printer (a feature in the clipper firmware). Plugged them into Raspberry Pi and they worked fine. Essentially, the firmware vibrates the parts back and forth at different frequencies, and this accelerometer lets you determine which frequencies are moving the most (resonant frequencies). It can then compensate for this and remove the "ringing" caused by the resonance. The whole process worked well with these accelerometers. Great price for her.
