When I first made this purchase for something like this I was very hesitant because whenever I travel I already have to pack liquids in a clear plastic bag , so I like, then what's the real use? Easy. Keep ALL your liquids and personal care items in your personal pocket! Honestly, it's worth buying! When I left NYC I had no problems with this bag as you can clearly see my liquids and meds are packed in this bag and I had the check so I took it in and went through smoothly. Back home was a whole different story, I had to take this bag out of my carry on and ask them to scan it separately and they ransacked it, no problem for me because EVERYTHING I need is literally in that one bag, so I knew if something was taken or missing. I wish it had 2 more side pockets for small items but I still love this bag!
