My husband and I found the 80% space saving claim a bit far fetched - we have never used vacuum bags before and now I can say it's absolutely right we were wrong . I've packed everything from weighted blankets to memory foam pillows and everything in between and it's sucked every single item down to almost nothing. We are both SO impressed. I've attached a few photos so you can see for yourself. The bags are very easy to use. There's a small opening that you just pull up and then place a small vacuum nozzle on top of (it's just a loose fit, but that's okay, don't worry!) - then use your vacuum on that nozzle to start sucking air to start . I only have a low end vacuum and it worked great. Removes air very quickly. Applying body weight to the bags as they are emptied helps keep the contents flat and even for better stacking. I just crawled over the bags as I vacuumed them and it worked great. The only thing that disappointed me is that the 3 small bags do NOT have a connection for a vacuum cleaner. Therefore they are not vacuum storage bags. Apparently. I still used one of these and was able to lay on top of the bag with the zipper ajar to squeeze out most of the air and then finish zipping to keep the air out. It didn't work as well as the vacuum, but it still saved space. Large pockets are perfect for pillows - I could fit 2 king size pillows in one or 4 standard pillows. Also great for oversized royal quilts. Overall I would say I am VERY pleased with the performance of these bags. I ended up using 8 of them and had no problems at all. They were very easy to use and even fun. My husband even made some because he thought it would be fun to watch me make them. I would recommend this set if you are okay with 3 small bags not being vacuumable.
