These fairy light look really nice and are as described. That said, the small battery packs are very cheap and/or have a faulty design. The flap/lid that holds the batteries in the box, if you can call it a box, never shuts perfectly. Meaning that the middle arches up and allows for a loose seal/connection between the metal strip that touches the batteries and the rest of the box. This causes the lights to flicker quite a bit with the smallest amount of movement of the battery box. Overall, the lights are nice and there may be a way to modify them to work, I just haven't figured it out yet. It's also worth noting the there are 2 small holes where screws/bolts can be put to tighten the box up a bit. That did not work for me either; the plastic was too soft of a plastic to give the right amount of force to do anything. The plastic hole simply stretched and/or broke. Also, I had to provide my own screws to test that, as it doesn't come with them.If you can find a way to fix that issue, the lights are probably worth it. If not, or you don't want to mess with that, I'd look elsewhere.
