This is a beautifully designed water sports boat carrier. I installed it about 2 weeks ago and so far so good. The only thing left to be determined for this is how it will hold up to outdoor weather/rusting. Installation was easy - I had to attach the 2x4 to a cinder block wall to install on top of the 2x4. I like being able to "buckle up" the kayaks as the location where I set them up is sometimes exposed to strong winds. If I could give myself some advice before installing it, I would put the racks a little closer together than I did. Since the kayak rests on a "hammock" strap, you need to ensure the kayak has a level surface to rest in the hammock (as it narrows as you move towards the bow and stern). The wider the kayak is where it rests on the strap, the more stable and less wobbly it will be when strapping on. The only thing to note is that the pairs I received were very strong, deep orange not yellow. Although I prefer orange over yellow as orange goes well with one of my kayaks.
