I love this product! I was so stressed out with my dog for various reasons. He was 6-7 months old so he was a big 60 lb puppy. Barked when we spent time in the garden, chewed on my patio furniture, trampoline net, etc. I called my dad to see if he wanted a family member and we chatted for a bit. He suggested trying everything possible first. So I bought a lot of chew toys and gave him a raw marrow bone and a kong bone. I also have this collar. The reason I chose this one was because it was the ONLY good quality collar I found with a bark limiter that is continuous when he barks while we are in the yard PLUS a training collar when chewing on things in the yard. Return or jump on the family when they're over. Big change since I got this collar. He knows when it's on and doesn't bark when I'm chatting with neighbors in the garden, etc. He chewed on my patio furniture last and hasn't touched it since. Now he really knows his limits and I'm happy to say that we will keep him for life. Tomorrow he will be 9 months old and weighs 70 pounds! He respects the word "leave it/stop it now" and I don't use the collar every day like I used to. I mainly use him when we have guests so he knows he's doing his best. If you have problems I recommend this particular collar. It's waterproof, doesn't hit random at all, has a variety of workout modes, and great battery life. I would say it lasts about a week on a full charge. The remote control battery has not been charged since I received it and it is still fully charged. Recommended for responsible dog owners only. This is not a tool to shock or hurt your pet, it is a tool to help train your dog and yourself through consistent training. It was just one piece of the puzzle I needed to help my mate.
