I decided to try these because they can be very expensive and it's a fairly low price but you really get what you pay for. The wood was a real thorn in my side and I had to do a lot of extra work to make it usable, including sanding the whole thing and also assembling it. It was definitely more work than I thought just getting it to a place where it wouldn't be dangerous or awkward to use. The grip on the leather is good and works well, I just think it's not very good quality and not ready to use. However, at this price point, rather than spending a lot more money on a finished product, it may require some extra work to get a usable end product. I'm not sure I expect this to last very long, but it's useful and gets the job done after you've done a little work.
