All of the components in the group are high quality and I recommend them with a few comments although I wouldn't fit them for advanced descents or racing unless you are an average mountain bike rider gravel- or trail riders, This is a very high quality and inexpensive way to convert 1x if you currently have a 3x8 or 3x9. However, you must have experience as a garage bike mechanic or at least be a mechanic and watch some YouTube videos (park tool recommended) to successfully install a drivetrain. The group also includes a Deore 6000 SGS rear derailleur. If you look at the Shimano website it says it only supports gears up to 36 teeth and that's for sure, an extension is included but it's not designed for this rear derailleur. You must purchase the Wolf Tooth Goatlink 11 (not Goatlink 10) and install it CORRECTLY. Specially designed to extend the geometry of any Shimano SGS derailleur to support a gear of up to 46 teeth, this product is specifically designed to allow for a proper "B". Attitude. screw without tension. With this kit and a Goatlink 11 (and narrow and wide chain) I was able to turn the Trek Dualsport 3x9 into a very reliable, quieter and lighter gravel/trail bike.
