All of the components in the group are high quality and I recommend them with a few comments although I wouldn't fit them for advanced descents or racing unless you are an average mountain bike rider gravel- or trail riders, This is a very high quality and inexpensive way to convert 1x if you currently have a 3x8 or 3x9. You must purchase the Wolf Tooth Goatlink 11 (not Goatlink 10) and install it CORRECTLY. Attitude. screw without tension. With this kit and a Goatlink 11 (and narrow and wide chain) I was able to turn the Trek Dualsport 3x9 into a very reliable, quieter and lighter gravel/trail bike.
