Review on ASRock B450M PRO4 AM4 AMD Promontory B450 Motherboard: Enhanced Performance with SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.1, HDMI, Micro ATX by Adisorn Khamkon ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

I assembled my brother on it first R3 2200g + 2x8 RAM Samsung TB1 3200 CL 16 Now I added RX 470 4gb and was surprised that there is no SAM in the BIOS. My MSI b450 PRO VDH PLUS has SAM and is paired with the RX 480. Even the FPS actually increased by 5% in Divine Divinity 2. I haven’t tested other games yet, and I won’t anymore. no longer needed.

Pros
  • fast boot Price 4000-5000 January 2022 You can put Ryzen 5600x and other junk from the 5000 series A big plus is that there is a DVI output. You can hang two and even the 3rd one on VGA (there are mothers without DVI, I almost bought one)
Cons
  • As I understand it, even with the latest BIOS 4.40 and the ated AGESA, the motherboard does not allow the SAM function to be enabled. There is Above 4g decoding but SAM does not seem to be. In principle, if this is the case, then we lose 5-15% of the FPS from the video card. Is that a lot. There is no cooling on the VRM, but it is also not clear whether it is needed if we put 4-6 65 Watt cores here.

not suitable for a 2600 G processor without a video card
